Areas of Support:
Clients encounter many barriers when it comes to finding a therapist. It can be difficult to find someone you genuinely connect with and trust. Time, financial constraints, and personal obligations can make it even harder to begin or stay consistent with therapy. For many, past negative experiences in therapy can also make it challenging to open up again. My goal is to make that process easier, more comfortable, and more rewarding.
I utilize a person-centered approach to meet you where you are and take the time to understand your goals, challenges, and strengths. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and human, not clinical or distant. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can feel safe to explore your emotions, develop insight, and make meaningful changes. I also offer flexibility in scheduling and open communication to help reduce barriers to treatment and support your success.
I work with children (8+), teenagers, students, and adults navigating a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more. Each client’s story is unique, so I tailor therapy to fit your specific needs and pace. Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning after a difficult experience, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
My therapeutic approach draws from multiple evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I also integrate mindfulness and self-compassion practices to help clients cultivate balance, resilience, and a greater sense of inner peace.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in a safe, compassionate, and trusting relationship. Together, we will work toward greater self-understanding, emotional stability, and meaningful growth so that you can experience more joy, confidence, and connection in your life.

During graduate school I completed research projects aiming to increase mental health treatment access for the Latina/o community. I also researched how women’s health conditions impact their mental health.
After graduate school, I worked at an inpatient hospital and outpatient center for substance abuse and briefly did school-based therapy in a rural community.
