Reaching out for support isn’t always easy, but it’s an important first step. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable, respected, and able to focus on what matters most to them.

I work with children, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and life stressors. I also support families with communication challenges, behavioral concerns, and academic stress. With experience in both school and community settings, I take a practical, big-picture approach to understanding each client’s environment and needs.

My approach is integrative and goal-oriented, drawing from DBT, TF-CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. Each session is tailored to your goals and comfort level, allowing space for both structure and flexibility as we work together toward growth and healing.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Master’s in Mental Health Counseling – St. Louis University

  • Bachelor’s in Psychology – Indiana University Bloomington

  • Certificate in Gifted Education – Purdue University

  • Certificate in School Counseling – Indiana Wesleyan University

I am also the advisor for a middle school club called Bring Change to Mind. This is a student-led club, with a membership of 60 students in grades 6 through 8. Our club is dedicated to reducing stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness, and to promoting a positive school environment. They complete community service projects and host an annual Mental Health Fair that is free for families to attend.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons. I also enjoy hiking, reading, travel, and shopping
